Ephesians 5:20
“And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Ephesians 5:20 NLT

We live in a world where it's easy to focus on what we don't have, God's Word reminds us to give thanks for ALL things, ALL the time. It's a powerful reminder that everything around us is a reflection of God's provision for His children. Whether it's the skills and desires that enable us to work and earn a living, or the possessions we have been given, each one is a blessing and an opportunity for gratitude and we need to acknowledge all these things around us.

Sometimes, we may overlook the significance of the things we possess or receive. We might even resent hand-me-downs or second-hand items. However, when we shift our perspective, we realize that these items carry a deeper meaning. They become a part of our story, connecting us to the love and generosity of those who have passed them on to us.

Take a moment to look around you. Now, Instead of focusing on what you don't have, let's take a mental inventory of everything you see. Your notebook, the table you're sitting at, the chair you're on, even the clothes you're wearing - each item is an opportunity for praise, thanksgiving, and gratitude. Amen!

Now, it's time to grab your note book again and let's write everything you see around you; after writing them all lift your God in gratitude about these things in the name of Jesus.

As you continue to cultivate an attitude of gratitude, may you discover a deeper sense of appreciation for all that God has provided. Remember, every possession, every item, and every provision is an opportunity to turn to praise, thanksgiving, and gratitude.

Blessings,
